Very comprehensive document which is a must-have for any Satellit 2100 owner whose set up is somewhat intricate. Due to the bad quality of the pictures that are rather dark and a bit blurred I gave 4-star feedback.

You can locate the beginning of a desired scene or track during playback or in the Pause mode.
To search for a specific part of a scene or track
You can search for a specific part of a scene or track by watching the screen or listening to the sound. Pressing the SLOW button lets you search in the Slow playback mode. (No audio sound can be heard during Slow playback.)
Numeric (1~0) SLOW
1. Enter the track number to be played back with the Numeric (1~0) buttons. You cannot enter track numbers higher than the total track numbers on a disc. 2. Press the ¯ (NEXT) button to search the beginning of the next scene or track during playback or in the Pause mode. 3. Press the (PREV) button to search the beginning of the previous scene or track. Pressing the ¯ (NEXT) button repeatedly during playback in the REPEAT ALL mode skips to the last track on the disc, then skips to the first track on the disc. Pressing the (PREV) button repeatedly returns to the first track on the disc, then skips to the last track on the disc. The Skip function normally does not go beyond the last track or before the first track on a disc.
1. During playback or in the (pause) mode, hold down the / (search) buttons to move the playing position quickly in the forward or reverse direction. During manual search operations, the sound output is lowered. 2. When the desired position is reached, release the button to reenter the previous mode. During playback in the ONE DISC, REPEAT ALL mode, if the  (search) button is pressed until the end of the last track is reached, the search operation continues from the beginning of the first track on the disc. If the (search) button is pressed until the beginning of the first track is reached, the search operation continues from the end of the last track on the disc. During playback in the ONE DISC, Normal mode, if the  (search) button is pressed until the end of the last track is reached, the Search mode is released. If the (search) button is pressed until the beginning of the track is reached, the Search mode is released and playback starts. During playback in the ALL DISC, Normal mode, if the  (search) button is pressed until the end of the last track is reached, the Search mode is released and playback starts from the first track of the next disc. If the (search) button is pressed until the beginning of the first track is reached, the Search mode is released and playback starts from the first track. Note: The playback picture may fluctuate during / searches during VIDEO CD playback.
